Appreciation

We would like to show our appreciation to Dr. Michael W. Churton, P rofessor Special Education and his team from University of South Florida , USA for the close collaboration with Institut Perguruan Batu Lintang (IPBL) for the first Special Eduction Workshop in December 2006 and their on-going project with the Special Education Needs in Sarawak . Currently, he is actively developing online training for the Special Education which is accessible to people in Asia .

We would also like to thank Miss Jin Ou, physiotherapist and the team, the professional volunteers from The Centre for Cerebral Palsy (TCCP) from Western Australian, formally name The Cerebral Palsy Association of Western Australia Ltd (CPCWA), came in July 2007 for 2 weeks helping our local Cerebral Palsy patients and giving training to the parents and the workers involved in the care.

Locally, we thanks to Ministry of Health, Ministry of Social Welfare, Ministry of Education, Social Welfare Council of Sarawak, the key NGOs; PIBAKAT Committee, PERKATA Committee, SAA Committee, Unimas Social Worker, Mdm Gill Raja with the Social Work programme, Dept of Anthropology and Sociology, Faculty of Social Science; Zakiah Ahmat from Yayasan Salam, Dr Razitasham, Dr Shyam Puthucheary and whoever directly or indirectly involve in the works of the children with Special Nneeds.
